About

Filling my empty little life with lots o’ ski. Will have to figure out what to do when the snow melts. Hibernation? No. Roller skiing.

Habits: I ski classic whenever the snow is good but otherwise I skate ski to avoid using klister.

    Hi!

Nice page you have. I’m curious to know what kind of roller skis you are using and which technique you use?

Personally, I use the Pro Ski C2 (classic). I feel they are a little unstable when I stride diagonally, so therefore I usually double-pole the whole trip. I usually ski between 20 and 25 km à trip. I assume you are using Red Creek carbide ferrules for the poles, if not, you should get them (much better grip to the asphalt). They are much better than Swix’.

      Hi Marius,
Thanks! I use Swenor skate. I’ve heard good things about the Pro Ski classic rollerskis. It seems that a lot of people just double-pole with classic rollerskis. You go on long trips. I’d be eager to compare routes.
Just bought some Red Creek ferrules and am eager to try them.

      Hi Alex,

No, I’m was born in Southern California but now live in Oslo, Norway. So I know your area and have rollerskied there. So, I’m a bit far away. But I’m very interested in hearing about your experiences (people’s reactions and how and where you train)
