West Coast rollerski

25 Jun

Went on a trip to the U.S. West Coast and, as usual, got some rollerskiing in.

There on the often foggy coast the weather was sunny. But much of my route was shaded by giant redwood trees.

The asphalt was decent and traffic fairly light for two of my three trips on this route.

The exception was Sunday, when I went out on probably the busiest hour in the entire year on this sleepy country road.

The volunteer fire department in the tiny town of Comptche was holding their annual barbecue chicken benefit lunch, and I was out just before noon.
