Nice mystery mist on this lake. Actually, sweat vapor on my cell phone

Funny things can motivate you. Like being too lazy to go out and buy a transit ticket coupon book. So the plan to take the bus to the water’s edge and then ski to rollerski nirvana in Bærum suddenly morphed into a ski from my house to the waters edge and then ski to nirvana plan.

The total distance for the trip was 39km. Probably should have done the extra three to make it an even marathon. As before, rollerski nirvana is a fine place to visit on little wheels with long poles. The lake at the end pictured above is a pretty and therefore satisfying destination. Turned around and skied back down to the downtown Oslo harbor area. From there I used my last remaining bus ticket to get home.

Felt embarrassed as I handed the sweaty and mangled ticket book to the driver to stamp. Oh the joys and insults of rollerskiing!
