Fresh snow on the trail to nowhere

25 Mar

Skied the trail to nowhere again. It’s a double wide prepped skateable stretch of bliss that ends at a lake. The lake is nicely frozen and safe to ski on but no one has seemed interested in cutting a trail in the fresh snow over it. Speaking of fresh snow, the rain that fell yesterday at my house was flakes here. Made skating a bit of a workout but was not deep enough to significantly hinder my progress. The above picture is the single-wide prepped portion just where the groomer was doing a U-turn at the lake.
