Had a sudden burst of inspiration and realized that I don’t need to be in the forest to enjoy rollerskiing.

I took the bus yesterday to Oslo’s most popular tourist destination, Frognerparken, better know as the Vigeland sculpture park.

My aim wasn’t to add weird local color for the tourists’ enjoyment, but rather to rollerski all over the park’s unpaved alleys.

In spite of the occasional loose spot and jogger/tourist/kid obstacles, this turned out to be a great place to practice my freaky sport.

I can get my ski fix there and thus avoid ending up like this guy, the most famous permanent resident of the park:

Clearly his temper tantrum is motivated by ski deprivation because as any idiot can see his arms and legs are in skate skiing position.
